(More customer reviews)First, this is a large roll of drawer liner.I completely lined the drawers of a wide Victorian dresser and have enough left over to line a few more drawers.
Second,this really seems to work!Most of my furniture is "hand-me-down" and a lot has been handed down for 100 years or more.Yeah, great to have the antiques, but living with beautiful cabinets and dressers that you can't use because they smell so musty is not so great.I have tried airing drawers in the sun, spraying them with cedar oil, stuffing them with sachets, and lining them with fragrance paper.No matter what I did, they still had an underlying musty smell.Well,I lined one of the dressers a few days ago, opened the drawer today, and.......nothing.There is no smell at all.I am absolutely thrilled and think this liner is well worth it.
Third: The liner comes with information saying it should/could last for years, but will need to be reactivated every once in a while by placing it out in the sun. This does not permanently remove the problem, but it provides an ongoing solution.For me, the ability to actually use the cabinets that have is problem, makes the bother of reactivating the liner a no-brainer.Also,since the liner should keep working for 2-3 years, this ends up being a lot cheeper than other solutions which only seem to work for a month by adding a fragrance to the mustiness.
My only concern is some day breaking open the lining and ending up with little pieces of stuff on my clothes.
